The photos in our Sheaffer Advertising Proofs Gallery are of original advertising tear proof sheets that were stored in the Sheaffer archives in Fort Madison, Iowa. These are high quality proofs of ads that were shown to Sheaffer prior to the ads running in magazines.

Many of these have the name of the magazine and publish dates printed on them. Many are one sided instead of the usual two sided magazine ads and are printed on high quality glossy paper with borders around the edges. Colored ad proofs are exceptionally brilliant.
