Victorian Telescoping Pencil - Pointer. This is one of my favorite Victorian era pieces, creativity at it's very best! Probably nickel plated finish, it's bright shining silver colored. Cable twist case, large ring at the end. Pencil at the other end uses 2.0mm dia leads. It's big when closed, but even bigger extended! Closed: 7 inches and about a half inch diameter. Fully extended it pulls out and out and out some more to a full 24 inches, yes two full feet long! It's in very nice condition and definitely qualifies as an unusual dual duty writing instrument. |
