Dixon Ticonderoga Pencils, set of 3 different advertisements

DIX006  Dixon Ticonderoga Pencils, set of 3 different advertisements, each measures 3 x 11 inches. Black and white. The hand written advertising is rather clever and invites you to write for a full sized Dixon Ticonderoga Pencil Sample. Not dated, but judging from a portrait of a man in suit on reverse side of one advert, I'd guess them to be from the early 1930s.

AT Cross Advertisement, June 1949

CRO02  AT Cross Advertisement, June 1949, from Holiday Magazine, Full Color, 5 x 14 inches, For as familiar a name as Cross is they did far less magazine advertising than many companies and generally smaller sized adverts, too. You'd think that with as famous as they were and still are that you'd see many ads, but you don't. This one features the Cross Six-Hundred noted as a smaller pencil along with the traditional Cross Century.
