Cap very good, good condition, however the brush is hardened inside as well as some leftover paste chunks. White label with Kelly Green and black print. 5.8 fl oz. Carter’s “Crown” label would date to late 1970s Address is Carter’s Ink Company Waltham, Massachusetts, 02104, A Division of Dennison Mfgr Co. Going on memory but I seem to recall the Dennison total acquisition of Carter’s was completed late 1970s – early 1980s. (1 avail)


Sanford’s No. 439 Library Paste

Sanford’s No. 439 Library Paste, Clear cone shaped bottle with gold tone screw on brass lid. Not marked but about a 1 ounce bottle. Measures 2 inches diameter at base and is 2.5 inches in height. Very elegant illustrated front label in red, white, dark blue and a hint of yellow. Chicago- New York. The Library Paste is hard and I doubt it will re-hydrate. Sanford's Solvene Type Cleaner Faceted Bottle with soft applicator brush on one end. Light blue, dark blue, yellow and white label is in excellent condition and as typical of the 1920s, the wordy wording on the label tells you everything you could possibly want to know about Solvene Cleaner, especially how to use it. Clear bottle measures 4.5 inches, adding the length of the brush applicator it is 6 inches long. Eight facets. One faceted panel is embossed Sanford's INKS and Adhesives. Excellent condition.
